-Relieves Him Over Allege Kickbacks Collection in Multi-Million Dollar Cocaine Investigation

Inspector General of the Liberia National Police Gregory Coleman who is known in the senior cycle of LNP as Pharaoh has nailed his own “Joseph”, Deputy Commissioner for Crime Services, Johnny Dean.
DCP Dean was relieved of his duties with immediate effect after he [Dean] allegedly accepted US$10,000 in connection with an ongoing investigation into one of Liberia’s largest cocaine seizures.
Police IG Coleman said, “He has admitted to receiving US$10,000. As a result, with immediate effect, he will turn himself over to the Professional Standards Division.”
The LNP boss said anyone who does anything to compromise the investigation will answer to the law and face the court, regardless of who the person is, where they are assigned, or what their responsibilities and roles are in law enforcement.
He admitted that, “During this ongoing investigation, we discovered that some police officers were connected to this case involving those who have been arrested.”
According to him, no one will get in the way of the law as they are doing all it takes to bring to book those involved in the huge drug trafficking cases.
Liberia is battling two major cases the first being the 19 plus million and the recent 317 or 317 million (the two conflicting amounts).
Insiders are saying the biggest news about officers linked to the drug trade is yet to break and big names are expected to be called.
As it is, Liberians are on edge to know who are those involved in the huge drug trafficking cases in Liberia.
