-JohnBertha Foundation CEO Tells Donald M. Karns Wesleyan School Graduates

Monrovia– The Chief Executive Officer of the JohnBertha Foundation, Mother Alberta Cummings, has challenged members of the graduating class of Donald M. Karns Wesleyan School to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with determination.
She spoke on the theme, “You Were Born for a Reason.”
During her deliberations, she reminded the graduates that every individual is created with a unique purpose and has the potential to make a lasting impact on society.
“Never allow your background to become an excuse for mediocrity,” Mother Cummings told the graduates.
She added, “Some of the world’s greatest success stories began with humble beginnings. Your future is not determined by where you come from, but by the choices you make every day.”
She encouraged the graduates not to be discouraged by difficult circumstances or limited opportunities, noting that many successful people began their journeys with very little, but at the end, they achieved greatness through perseverance, discipline, and hard work.

She emphasized that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and creating opportunities for young people, urging students to remain focused on their studies, embrace discipline, integrity, and never allow challenges to discourage them from pursuing their dreams.
Mother Cummings told the students and their parents that investing in education is an investment in the nation’s future, calling on parents, community leaders, government institutions, and development partners to work together to ensure that every child has access to quality learning opportunities.
According to her, empowering young people through education will help create a generation of responsible leaders, skilled professionals, and active citizens capable of driving Liberia’s social and economic development.
She reaffirmed her organization’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives and encouraging academic excellence, stressing that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed regardless of their background.
Demonstrating the Foundation’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities, Mother Cummings presented an initial donation of L$50,000 on behalf of the JohnBertha Foundation to support the continued development of Donald M. Karns Wesleyan School.
The contribution speaks of the Foundation’s ongoing investment in education as a critical driver of national growth and youth empowerment.
Mr. Rockson Wolloh, school principal of the institution received the donation and expressed gratitude for the support and described the contribution as a significant boost to the institution’s efforts to improve learning conditions for its students.
