-Announces Nationwide Co. Youth Elections To Deepen Local Ownership
Monrovia-The Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) says it is keen on ensuring that young people are well represented in leadership of the organization.
In the spirit of ensuring local ownership, the organization of young people today, July 14, 2026 announced that it will conduct a County Youth Elections on Saturday, September 26, 2026, to strengthen local leadership and expand the Federation’s presence across Liberia.
FLY President Duku Jallah told a press conference that the elections will complete democratic county structures where they do not yet exist, deepen local ownership, and ensure young people in every county are represented.
President Jallah said to give a tooth to the local leadership, dedicated bank accounts will be created for each county structure so that funds generated from membership dues and other sources can be managed at the county level, in line with FLY’s financial policies.
