Suakoko-Snowflake Children’s Foundation Inc., a humanitarian organization operating in the United States and Liberia under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Mother Love Ellen Jensen, has paid the full tuition fees of ten students at Faith Community AG Elementary & Junior High School in Suakoko District, Bong County, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Speaking to journalists on Sunday, June 28, the Foundation’s Bong County Coordinator, Francis S. Karfleh, said the initiative supports children from low-income families whose parents or guardians cannot afford school fees.

Karfleh explained that Snowflake Children’s Foundation, registered in both the U.S. and Liberia, has supported children’s education since the 1990s. The organization currently operates scholarship programs in Bong, Montserrado, Grand Bassa, Rivercess, Bomi, and Grand Cape Mount counties.

He said the Foundation sponsors students at several schools across Liberia. In Bong County, ten students at Faith Community AG Elementary & Junior High School and 33 students at Hope Children’s Garden Elementary & Junior High School in Sergeant Kollie Town are benefiting from the program.

According to Karfleh, the Foundation spends more than US$1,000 annually on scholarships and remains committed to expanding educational support across Liberia. He credited the initiative to CEO Mother Love Ellen Jensen’s commitment to helping vulnerable children, especially those from disadvantaged families or those abandoned by one or both parents.

He noted that beneficiaries’ tuition is paid in installments covering both semesters of the academic year. While praising the administration of Faith Community AG School for its cooperation, he acknowledged challenges in some communities due to limited parental involvement.

“Our long-term goal is to extend this program to all fifteen counties of Liberia,” Karfleh said.

Scholarship recipients, including Prayer Sackie, Edward Yarsiah, and Theresa Gbangatoe, thanked Mother Love Ellen Jensen and the Foundation for easing the financial burden on their families and enabling them to continue their education.

Faith Community AG Elementary & Junior High School Proprietor, Rev. Edward F. Pewee, confirmed that the Foundation fully covered the tuition of the ten beneficiaries and commended its continued investment in educating disadvantaged children.
