Police in Central Careysburg have charged and sent to court for suspects Francis Kuah, 19 and his uncle Fayiah Sekou, 21.

Francis Kuah is a 12 grader at Central Careysburg High School.

It all happened in the Newland Community in Careysburg, Montserrado County.

LBS Rural Montserrado County correspondent, George Kollie said on the Super Morning show that the 12th grader and his 21 year old uncle lived within the school compound of the family of the rape survivor, taking care of some chores.

Kollie said Francis and Fayiah took advantage of their proximity with the girl and her parents and reportedly raped the 14 years old girl.

George explained that the suspects crept into the room of the survivor when she had returned from taking her bath, penetrated her for the first time.

Residents of the community reported the suspects to the girl’s parents but the suspects denied having any affairs with the girl.

The 14 year old girl also denied the allegations at first because she was threatened by the suspect’s 21 years old uncle that if she confesses their names, she would be killed and her body placed on the road and will tell her parents that she was killed by a vehicle.

Out of fear of being killed, the survivor kept quiet about the incident.

The wait was not long when she later disclosed it to her mother that her alleged abusers did rape her.

She explained that the first time it happened was when she came from the bathroom while the second time was during the school year’s closing which was July 31; this time, she was threatened by the fellow to follow them in the room and they did what he could.

Based on report from the James A Davis Hospital, Francis and his uncle have been charged with rape and sent to court to answer to their crimes.
