Bushrod Queens Football Club has officially reached an agreement to acquire Sporting Galaxy Academy in a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots and elite women’s football development.
As part of the agreement, female players of Sporting Galaxy Academy will be fully merged into Bushrod Queens II and the Bushrod Sports Academy, creating a unified pathway for talent identification, growth, and progression within the club’s structure.
In a major boost to the academy setup, Coach Emmanuel Shannon (Official) has also joined the Bushrod Sports Academy as Head Coach of the Female Academy Team, bringing experience, discipline, and technical expertise to guide the next generation of female footballers.
The acquisition reflects Bushrod Queens’ continued commitment to investing in women’s football, youth development, and sustainable success, while providing young players with improved coaching, exposure, and competitive opportunities.
