— President Bailey Died Tragically

The United Methodist University, faculty, lecturers, students, family, and the Methodist Church are mourning the tragic death of its President, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Bailey.
Dr. Bailey reportedly fell off in his office early Wednesday afternoon and was later rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His demise has left shocking waves on the university campus as students, including faculty, and staff could not withhold their tears for the loss of an educator.
Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Bailey was known for his unwavering commitment and dedication to fostering academic excellence and promoting adequate and equal rights for all.
Following the death of this renowned pastoral figure, the United Methodist University has with immediate effect suspended all academic activities adding that a reflection of Dr Bailey’s legacy coupled with his burial should be prioritized and respected.
Friends and associates describe Dr. Bailey as a true mentor and a guiding principle as the spirit of him resonates within the boundaries of the universe and the education sector.
