An all-media engagement with the Communications Section of the National Elections Commission of Liberia (NEC-Liberia) has been held with journalists participating in the ongoing Media-Security Conference in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
The engagement formed part of efforts to further strengthen collaboration and trust among the NEC, the media, and security institutions, following a successful review of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Elections.
This session marks the conclusion of the Buchanan Media-Security Conference, implemented under the UNDP-Liberia Electoral Support Project.
The final phase of the Media-Security Conference series is scheduled to take place next week in Ganta, Nimba County.
