— Commends Fire Service for Swift Intervention

The Management of Sethi Brothers Inc, a Component of the Sethi Fabrik Ferro Steel Factory has expressed regrets in Saturday, December 6, 2025, Fire Blaze at its Paint Factory in Gardnerville.
A Wide- Fire has broke out in the Store room of essential building materials and rapidly spread across causing panic in the public.
In a release, Sethi Brothers expressed regrets towards the Situation, while commending the Liberia National Fire Service for what they indicated as Swift and Professional Response.
“We regret to confirm a fire incident that occurred during the late evening hours of December 6, 2025, at our Iron Factory branch in Gardnersville. The affected structure was not a primary storage facility but an auxiliary area where other materials were kept”. The company stated.
The Management of Sethi Brothers, also disclosed no lives were lost during the incident indicating community dwellers and nearby residents remained safe throughout the emergency.
The Factory commended the Government of Liberia especially the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) for its rapid, courageous, and highly professional intervention.
“The LNFS worked tirelessly to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading and averting what could have been a far more devastating situation. Their swift action and dedication in our moment of distress are sincerely appreciated”. The Management added.
Additionally, Sethi reaffirms it’s commitment to cooperating fully with the relevant authorities to establish the exact cause of the fire and to strengthen preventive safeguards going forward
