SHOCKWAVES: SAMUEL JACKSON’S CHILLING REVELATION ABOUT AV SIRLEAF’S DEATH
Monrovia -Samuel Jackson, a former Liberian government official, has made a shocking revelation about the death of Amadu Varfee Sirleaf (AV Sirleaf), a former head of security for the Liberia Petroleum Refining Coporation (LPRC).
Jackson, a boyhood friend of Sirleaf, claimed to have knowledge about Sirleaf’s disappearance during the 1985 coup attempt led by General Thomas Quiwonkpa.
AV Sirleaf was a key figure in the Liberian government, serving as head of security for the LPRC.
He was whisked away from his home during the coup attempt and was never seen or heard from again, despite efforts by family and friends to locate him.
Samuel Jackson was a founding member of the Progressive Alliance of Liberia (PAL), a group that advocated for change in Liberia in the late 1970s.
Jackson and Sirleaf were part of the same social circle, attending school and socializing together. During the Tolbert regime, Jackson served as Deputy Comptroller at the Ministry of Finance and later as Director of the Division of Price Analysis at the Ministry of Commerce.
He was arrested and jailed several times for his involvement with PAL.
After the 1980 coup, Jackson was appointed Deputy Commerce Minister, but was later dismissed from government.
Despite his dismissal, he maintained connections with key figures in the new government.bNow, Jackson’s revelation about AV Sirleaf’s death has sent shockwaves through Liberia.
However, it’s unclear what evidence supports his claims, and some have questioned his credibility.

Notably, Jackson was not in Liberia during the 1985 coup attempt, and there’s no evidence he was involved with the invading forces.
His statement has raised more questions than answers, leaving many wondering about the truth behind Sirleaf’s disappearance.
The Sirleaf family and many Liberians are seeking answers about AV’s fate. Jackson’s revelation has reopened old wounds, and many are calling for a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding Sirleaf’s disappearance and death.
