Paynesville- ‎‎‎The President of the International Basketball Federation Africa Zone 3 Retired Col. Sam Ahmedu, is currently in Liberia for the Elite Basketball Camp.‎‎

Retired Col. Sam Ahmedu aims to refine young athletes skills, with focus on Youth Development and Coaching Skills as well as advancing local coaching talent through modern basketball techniques.‎‎

According to him, 100 participants (60 boys and 40 girls) aged 14 to 18 are expected to benefit from this training.‎‎It is the sixth Jordan Nwora Foundation Elite Basketball Camp in Liberia, marking its second consecutive year.‎‎

Scheduled to take place from May 8th to May 11th, the FIBA Africa Zone 3 President stressed that the four-day training seeks to identify future basketball stars from Liberia.‎‎

The veteran basketball superstar noted that following the intense training, participants will gain essential life changing opportunities for U.S. scholarships.
