ArcelorMittal Liberia has certified 66 supervisors and senior officers under the 3D & 4D Shopfloor Enhancement and Management Program.‎

The intensive program, led by the company’s Learning & Development team, was designed to strengthen frontline and mid-level leadership capacity by sharpening skills in planning, teamwork, leadership effectiveness, and disciplined workplan execution.

Participants engaged in hands-on learning aimed at translating strategy into action on the shopfloor.

‎At the certification ceremony held in Yekepa, Chief Financial Officer Cornor O’Brien charged the newly certified leaders, urging them to lead with intention, integrity, and action.

‎He emphasized the critical role supervisors play in modeling safety, enforcing standards, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement, noting that leadership is measured not by position, but by daily decisions and behaviors.

‎Senior leaders in attendance echoed this message, reinforcing the importance of turning learning into tangible impact.

They challenged participants to apply their new skills to build safer, more efficient, and more accountable workplaces, aligned with ArcelorMittal Liberia’s operational and safety standards.‎

In response, participants reaffirmed their commitment to putting theory into practice, using their enhanced competencies to improve performance, strengthen teamwork, and foster a culture of excellence across operations.‎
