‎— Fluxii Breaks Silence on DMG Records; Sets a New Record in the Music Industry ‎

‎By Perry B. Zordyu

‎‎Liberia has witnessed many inspiring moments in entertainment, with the recent Fluxii and DMG Records is historic.

The fast-rising female singer has become the first Liberian female artist to walk away from a record label with all her social media handles taken from her yet still rise even stronger.

‎‎After DMG Music held on to her accounts, many expected Fluxii to disappear from the spotlight but instead, she proved exactly why the people love her.

In less than 48 hours, her brand-new Facebook page skyrocketed to over 30,000 followers, making her the first Liberian artist ever to rebuild a fan base that fast.‎‎

This isn’t just numbers, it is love as her resilience has now become a symbol of hope for every young artist who feels overlooked, unheard, or unfairly treated. ‎‎

Fluxii’s story isn’t a comeback. It’s a new beginning, a testimony of strength, a lesson in loyalty and a celebration of the unstoppable Liberian spirit.

‎‎”To the Liberian music community,  thank you. Your love, your encouragement, and your belief in me during this painful moment means more than I can ever express. I’ve seen the recent statement made about my situation, and I want to address it with honesty and respect. I did not walk away from my previous partnership for attention or applause. I walked away because I was fighting silently for years, for clarity, for transparency, for support, and for the respect every artist deserves.” She noted.

‎‎The female vocalist and song writer stressed that leaving DMG Records was not an act of rebellion rather an act of survival. ‎‎

She maintained, “It hurts to see my story rewritten, see my struggles dismissed as “misguidance”, to watch my name used in a narrative that paints me as someone who doesn’t value investors or the industry. Anyone who knows me knows how hard I’ve worked, how much I’ve sacrificed, and how deeply I love music and my supporters. I have never asked the industry to choose sides. I only asked for my platforms, my identity, and my dignity. I did not ask for sympathy. I asked for fairness. I did not ask for pity. I asked for access to the pages that carry my name, my face, my music, and my story.”‎ ‎

Fluxii added “Today, I’m rebuilding again. With a new page, a new voice, and a community standing beside me. I did not expect the over 30,000 people to follow me so quickly, and I am truly humbled. Thank you. I am still doing everything possible behind the scenes to recover what belongs to me. But regardless of the outcome, my spirit is not broken.”

‎‎She urged artists coming up to protect their name, their platforms, and their art adding that no contract should ever silence their identity.‎
