Paynesville -Liberia’s only traditional league and second most popular sport in the country, Kickball is now becoming a new dimension for female athletes.
Since its establishment, the sport has become a place of wealth, opening opportunities for the players as well as exploring their talents internationally.
The President of the Liberia Kickball Federation, Amb Emmanuel Suprise Whea , and about 60 delegates have already boarded the National Transit Authority vehicle heading to neighboring Sierra Leone for a four day trip.

Amb. Whea highlighted the importance of the trip, describing it as a key opportunity for the Liberian kickball team to gain local and international exposure and further development in sports.
The Kickball Federation president further expressed confidence in the players and coaching staff, noting that the delegation is well prepared and determined to represent Liberia proudly.
The tournament is expected to bring together several teams, providing a platform for competitive actions and regional sporting unity.
As the team heads to Sierra Leone, it is the first of its kind in the history of the Federation under the watch of President Whea.Stakeholders and cheerful supporters have since described the trip as a way of making the girls experience their talent outside of their home country.
