The Liberia men’s senior national football team, the Lone Star, has officially departed Monrovia for Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of their international friendly encounter with Guinea scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Head coach Thomas Kojo and his 19-man squad are set to use the friendly as part of their ongoing preparations for competitions ahead.
The traveling squad features a blend of experience and youthful promise, with first senior call-ups for Kindness Cole and Emmanuel Flomo of Al Hilal SC, while in-form winger Chauncy Freeman returns to the national setup after an impressive run at club level.
Several key players, including Sampson Dweh, Murphy Oscar Dorley, Divine Teah, and Nicholas Andrews, will miss the fixture due to injuries, but the coach remains confident in the depth of the squad.
The Lone Star will hold its final training sessions in Casablanca before taking on Guinea at a yet-to-be-confirmed venue.
