— Autopsy Reports Reveal; Police Conquered
The Liberia National Police has conquered the Ministry of Justice on an autopsy of an alleged suicide of the former Manager of Boulevard Place Hotel, Mr. Anwar Futloo in Monrovia.
According to a release from the Justice Ministry, an autopsy was conducted on January 7, 2025 by the state pathologist, Dr. Benedict Kolee in the presence of family members of the late Futloo, law enforcement officers and mortuary attendants at St. Moses Funeral Parlours on the Somalia Drive.
The release further that the autopsy report has established that the cause of death is unnatural, being consistent with a self-directed action, adding that the cause of death of Mr. Futloo is suicide.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice, relying upon the result of the autopsy conducted, hereby informs the public that Mr. Futloo died of suicide arguing that the matter is now considered close unless new information compels further investigation.
On December 31, 2024, Mr. Anwar Futlooallegedly visited a Humanitarian Home on 9th Street where he reportedly went into the bathroom and consumed a cleaning substance and later saw him lying on the floor.
The Liberia National Police (LNP) immediately launched an investigation into his mysterious death amid questions over whether it was a case of suicide or foul play.
