Paynesville -Liberia’s only traditional league and second most popular sport in the country, Kickball is now becoming a new dimension for female athletes.‎‎

Since its establishment, the sport has become a place of wealth, opening opportunities for the players as well as exploring their talents internationally.‎‎

The President of the Liberia Kickball Federation, Amb Emmanuel Suprise Whea , and about 60 delegates have already boarded the National Transit Authority vehicle heading to neighboring Sierra Leone for a four day trip.‎‎

Amb. Whea highlighted the importance of the trip, describing it as a key opportunity for the Liberian kickball team to gain local and international exposure and further development in sports.‎‎

The Kickball Federation president further expressed confidence in the players and coaching staff, noting that the delegation is well prepared and determined to represent Liberia proudly.

‎‎The tournament is expected to bring together several teams, providing a platform for competitive actions and regional sporting unity. ‎‎

As the team heads to Sierra Leone, it is the first of its kind in the history of the Federation under the watch of President Whea.‎‎Stakeholders and cheerful supporters have since described the trip as a way of making the girls experience their talent outside of their home country.
