Liberia is set to benefit from free medical surgeries, medical supplies, food assistance, spiritual support, and other humanitarian services.

‎‎The initiative is carried on by Jesus Ministry Church Global, an international Christian organization based in the United States.

‎‎Jesus Ministry Church Global provides medical supplies, surgical assistance, medication, food, clean water, clothing, free Bibles, and support to missionaries, while also working to strengthen local churches.

The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) ministry registered in the state of Missouri.‎‎

Since its restructuring in 2018, the ministry has focused on demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through spiritual, medical, and physical assistance to the poor, sick, and brokenhearted in nations facing severe challenges.‎‎

Speaking on Sunday, January 18, 2026, upon her arrival at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County, the Director of Jesus Ministry Church Global, Dr. Sharilyn M. Garrett, said her visit to Liberia is part of an assessment tour aimed at establishing a medical camp that will be used for surgical operations.‎‎

Dr. Garrett explained that her three-week stay in Liberia will focus on completing necessary documentation, meeting government officials, and laying the groundwork for upcoming programs. ‎‎

She disclosed plans to engage President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung, the Minister of Health, members of the Legislature, and medical professionals across the country.‎‎

According to Dr. Garrett, once all arrangements are finalized, Liberians are expected to benefit beginning in 2027 from free medical supplies, surgical services, medications, food, clean water, clothing, Bible distribution, missionary support, and strengthened church programs.‎‎

During her visit, Dr. Garrett will also tour several hospitals, churches, and community groups across Liberia as part of the ministry’s outreach efforts.‎‎

“I expect that through this ministry, people in Liberia will receive the surgeries they need and become healthy,” Dr. Garrett said.‎‎

The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Liberia branch of Jesus Ministry Church Global, headed by Pastor Roland Chester of the Divine Miracles and Deliverance Ministries in the Rehab Community, Lower Johnsonville.‎‎

Pastor Chester described Dr. Garrett’s visit as a divine blessing for Liberia, noting that the successful implementation of the programs would bring lasting medical relief, healing, and spiritual growth to the country.‎‎

He confirmed that Dr. Garrett will remain in Liberia for three weeks before traveling to other African nations as part of the ministry’s broader mission.‎‎

Pastor Chester also announced that a major prayer conference is scheduled for November, which will host participants from several countries, including Israel, Finland, Australia, and Germany. ‎‎

He said Liberia will experience intense spiritual preparation leading up to the event describing Liberia as a blessing in Africa and expressed optimism that the visit would usher in positive developments for the nation and its people.‎‎

Pastor Chester encouraged all Liberians, including government officials, members of the religious community, and vulnerable populations, to take full advantage of the opportunity presented by the ministry’s intervention.‎
