— Book AML Cup Final

‎‎Wee District #4 has advanced to the Grand Final of the ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) Cup after defeating Buchanan District in a high-intensity semifinal clash decided by penalties today at the Doris Williams Stadium.‎‎

The semifinal opened with an early breakthrough from Wee District #4 forward Titus Kpandy scored in the 4th minute.

Buchanan District responded in the 35th minute through Joseph Toe, sending the match into halftime tied 1-1.‎‎

The second half was full of back-and-forth chances, but neither side managed to score, leading the match to be decided by a tense penalty shootout.‎‎

In the shootout, Buchanan District opened the scoring, and both teams converted their first two attempts.

However, Buchanan went on to miss two crucial kicks, while Wee District #4 remained perfect from the spot, securing a 5-3 victory and booking their place in the Grand Final.‎‎

Wee District #4 will now face District #1 on Sunday in the championship match, which will determine Grand Bassa County representative for the AML Cup regional playoffs in Nimba County.
