-Strengthen Rule of Law, Fight Transnational Crime Top Meeting
Monrovia-U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires, Joe Zadrozny yesterday, July 14,2026 met with Liberia’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh to strengthen the rule of law and enhance efficient cooperation against transnational crime.
During the meeting, the Chargé affirmed the United States’ commitment to support Liberia’s justice sector as it works to hold criminal networks accountable and protect the Country from illicit trafficking and financial crimes.
He highlighted ongoing U.S. assistance, through the Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, which focuses on combating trafficking in persons, reducing drug demand, and improving counternarcotics and law enforcement capacity.
Both sides expressed appreciation for their partnership and agreed to continue cooperation to advance justice, security, and the rule of law.
