‎The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) is delivering urgent relief to families devastated by recent fire outbreaks in Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County, and several communities in Montserrado County.‎‎

According to the Red Cross, fifty-nine affected families are receiving cash transfers to jump-start their recovery, along with essential supplies such as clothing, slippers, soap, blankets, and hygiene kits. ‎‎

The response is supported by the Swedish Red Cross through its Initial Response Fund.‎‎A statement said a fierce October 16 fire ravaged Kru Town in Grand Cape Mount, destroying 22 homes and damaging nine others. ‎‎

Dozens, mainly women and children have been displaced and are now seeking temporary shelter with relatives and neighbors.

‎‎In Montserrado, more families continue to appeal for urgent help after losing everything to separate fire incidents
