Monrovia-A Liberian private institution formerly known as Kenyor’s Foundation has officially rebranded as X-Academy, signaling a major strategic shift toward entrepreneurship, skills development, leadership training, innovation, and broader human capacity building.
Established in 2024 with a focus on discovering and nurturing hidden potential, the institution said the transformation marks a new phase in its development as it moves from a primarily humanitarian and charitable structure into a more formalized center for professional training and education.
In a press statement issued on Monday, the organization explained that the rebranding reflects its expanded mandate and long-term vision of empowering individuals through practical learning opportunities and capacity-building programs.
“Effective immediately, we are transitioning from Kenyor’s Foundation to X-Academy,” the statement read. “
“This new identity better aligns with our mission, vision, and purpose, while positioning us to serve as a leading institution dedicated to education, professional development, and transformative learning opportunities” the release said.
The institution further noted that while the Kenyor’s Foundation name has been associated with humanitarian service, its programs have gradually evolved to place greater emphasis on entrepreneurship training, leadership development, and skills acquisition aimed at youth empowerment and community transformation.
According to the statement, the decision to adopt a new identity is intended to better reflect its current direction and future aspirations, while still maintaining continuity in its core values and institutional legacy.
“X-Academy continues to uphold the same commitment to excellence, integrity, innovation, and service that has guided us from the beginning,” it added.
The organization also acknowledged that the transition may require adjustments among partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders, but expressed appreciation for continued support during the change process.
Speaking on the development, Executive Director Andrew Nuch Kenyor said the rebranding will open the door for expanded programs focused on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship training, and broader capacity-building initiatives in the coming months.
With its new identity, X-Academy says it aims to position itself as a leading hub for transformative learning and skills development in Liberia and beyond.
The organization described the rebranding as a step forward in strengthening its mission and expanding its reach to uncover and nurture untapped potential within communities.
