Paynesville-Former President George Manneh Weah identified with the Kettor Family on Friday, July 24, 2026 and is mourning the passing of the President of the Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists (LAGMA).

Former President Weah extends his deepest condolences to the Kettor Family, the Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists, the Liberian Music Industry and Christian Community on the sudden death of one of Liberia’s renowned gospel musical artists, Madam Miracle Kettor on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.

Former President Weah expressed that the death of Madam Miracle Kettor is deeply saddening.  Ex-President Weah stressed that she became a pillar of stability in the gospel musical community following her historic election and re-election for her first and current second terms as President of LAGMA, respectively. 

Ex-President Weah described the late Gospel Artist, Madam Miracle Kettor as a true patriot, soul winner for Christ and an advocate for social justice in Liberia and humanity in general through her gospel music.

Former President Weah indicated that her longstanding contributions to LAGMA, Liberia’s gospel musical sector, the Christian Community and the Liberian society will remain a sobering reminder and reflection of her enduring legacy.  

Ex-President Weah fervently prays and hopes that the Kettor Family, the Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists, Christian Community, the Gospel Musical Industry and Liberians in general will take solace in the Lord as they all, including himself go through this difficult period of mourning.
