‎-Says Decision Was Driven By Boakai’s Security Drive

‎A prominent son of Nimba and Veteran Security expert, Mr Amos Yini, has joined the ruling Unity Party.‎

The Chief Executive Officer of the Atlantic Security and Protective Guard Service Inc. stated on Sunday in an official fundraising rally ahead of the Unity Party’s December 6 National Homecoming and Fundraiser that his decision was driven by President Boakai’s security drive for Liberia.‎‎

Mr Yini said President Boakai must be commended for his efforts in fighting drugs and illicit substances, something that has waged war against the nation by damaging the growing population, especially youths.‎

“Human being by nature, we are political icon and my decision here today is driven by what this President is doing for Liberia, and I’m optimistic in his developmental agenda for this Country, be it security, private sector, President Boakai is doing well, just to add-up, look at what the President is doing in our Security sector, you see the proliferation of drugs has decrease, borders secured, and I think in the next year or so will be far better”, Yini states.‎

He praised the Liberian leader for his vast knowledge and robust revamping of the nation’s security sector, as well as his overall developmental drive for the country.‎

“You can see everywhere is moving gradually, education, youth developments, security, Yini said.‎He explained his decision wasn’t influenced by anything but driven by the work put into action.‎ It is laughable for people to say a security man cannot be a politician, you know the mistake people are making, from the “Army perspective, a figure officer is a politician, and I will no longer continue in the stand, when I’m seeing progress and action, implemented in what I study,” Yini noted.

‎Mr Yini said he was inspired by the government’s progress so far.‎Meanwhile, Mr Yini, CEO and President of Atlantic Security and Protective Guard Services Inc., has been significantly contributing towards the Liberian security sector over the years.‎

He said that despite his decision as a private security expert, he remains committed to enhancing the government’s efforts by providing job opportunities for the unemployed citizens of the country through his institution.
