‎– Dismissed Case Involving LFA President Over Insufficient Evidence

‎Paynesville -The Paynesville Magisterial Court has formally dismissed the case involving the President of the Liberia Football Association Mr. Mustapha Raji, and the President of Jubilee FC, Mr. James Nimene.‎‎

According to the court, the case lacks legal magnitude and insufficient evidence to proceed with hearing in the matter.‎‎

The LFA has since acknowledged and respects the authority of the court and the judicial process that led to this lawful determination. ‎‎

The Liberia FA noted that the outcome reflects the conclusion reached by the court after due consideration of the facts presented.

‎‎Liberia Football Association clarifies that contrary to reports circulating on the social media and in some quarters, President Raji fully complied with all legal requirements throughout the proceedings and was appropriately represented by his legal counsel in accordance with the‎law.

‎‎It further revealed that at no time was the president arrested neither did he‎attempts to evade the justice system as reported by Verity Newspaper.‎‎

As the Association approaches its April Elective Congress, the LFA remains committed to its primary responsibility of promoting and developing football across Liberia.‎‎

Meanwhile, the Liberia Football House stressed that it will continue to carry out its mandate in a manner that upholds integrity, transparency, and respect for the rule of law and national institutions.‎‎

The LFA encourages the media and the public to rely on verified court outcomes and accurate information in reporting on matters of public interest, in the spirit of fairness and responsible journalism.‎‎
