Paynesville -‎The Ministry of Youth and Sports has congratulated Nimba County, Champions of the Football Category; Lofa County, the Basketball Champions; and Margibi County, the Kickball Champions.‎‎

Minister Jeror Cole Bangalu emphasized that these achievements reflect not only talent and discipline but also the enduring spirit of unity, resilience, and healthy competition that the National County Sports Meet represents.

Each county demonstrated excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making this year’s tournament a true celebration of Liberian pride.‎‎

Minister Bangalu expressed profound gratitude to all of the sponsors and partners whose unwavering support made the successful hosting of this national event possible.

He lauded the security forces for ensuring a safe and orderly environment throughout the competition and the media for broadcasting and televising the tournament.‎‎

“We also commend all participating counties, the referees, match commissioners, statisticians, and technical officials for upholding professionalism, fairness, and integrity across all matches. To the passionate supporters and fans across the country, your energy, encouragement, and love for sports brought life to every game.” Youth and Sports Minister noted.‎‎

The Youth and Sports boss maintained that sports lovers have once again demonstrated that sports remain a powerful force for national unity, youth empowerment, and peace in Liberia.
