โThe Local Daily has gathered reports of a plot against the Township Commissioner of Louisiana, Moses K. White.
โAccording to information in the possession of this network, the plot is being planned by Montserrado County district #1 lawmaker, Rugie Yatu Barry and some associates of the Unity Party in the district.
โOur information has it that those who are seeking for the removal of the Commissioner are acting on the orders of the lawmaker who accordingly sees the commissioner as a contender due to the level of support he is receiving from the people of the township.
โMr. Wilton D Sesay, Deputy coordinator for mobilization and recruitment Montserrado County District #1 is one person who is reportedly involved with the removal plot on grounds that the commissioner is not from their party but is benefiting from the President’s appointed power.
โAlthough President Boakai has said his government knows no color or parties, a few partisans see it very differently that those who voted for the UP government
โshould benefit from the jobs and any opportunity instead of those who are nonpartisan.
โOur report also has it that the lawmaker is planning a resolution and calling meetings seeking signatures from citizens but she is finding it difficult to get the consent of the citizens.
โAmid all of those accusations against the lawmaker, Rep. Barry has distanced herself from anything plotting against the commissioner.
โA release published by Clean Communications from the Lawmaker office said Representative Barry strongly distances herself from these actions and any narratives seeking to drag her name into such partisan disputes.
โThe release said, “Let me make this crystal clear, my relationship with Commissioner Moses White remains Cordial, and there is absolutely no confusion between us.’
โIt furthered, “I am not involved in, supportive of, or connected to any plot, real or imagined. aimed at removing the Commissioner from the office.”
