The second half was full of back-and-forth chances, but neither side managed to score, leading the match to be decided by a tense penalty shootout.

In the shootout, Buchanan District opened the scoring, and both teams converted their first two attempts.
However, Buchanan went on to miss two crucial kicks, while Wee District #4 remained perfect from the spot, securing a 5-3 victory and booking their place in the Grand Final.
